About Natasscha Girelli

Natasscha Girelli is a visual artist based by the beautiful Limfjord in Denmark – A place that continuously inspires her with its quiet strength and ever-shifting beauty. Her works are characterized by flow, sensuality, and organic forms, where the rhythms of nature are translated into color, brushstrokes, and presence. She often paints large-scale canvases that radiate freedom and energy – evoking both calm and inspiration.

Her journey into the world of art began with a deep curiosity for materials and craftsmanship. Early on, she explored jewellery and fashion design, immersing herself in the tactile experience of creating with her hands. This led her to the Art School in Randers, where her passion for artistic expression took root. It was here that she discovered the power of art to make a difference and communicate emotion beyond words.

At Randers, she studied techniques like etching and croquis drawing, guided by profound artistic dialogues – including encounters with the renowned sculptor Robert Jacobsen. She became fascinated by how the same human form could be seen in so many different ways. This insight laid the foundation for her explorative and sensory approach to art.

Later, she continued her studies at the Design School in Kolding, where she refined her creative voice and was awarded the prestigious Trapholt Grant – a recognition of her unique talent and artistic potential.

Natasscha Girelli’s professional creative journey began in the advertising world, where she worked as an Art Director at the international agency Saatchi & Saatchi in Copenhagen. It was a time of high demands, tight deadlines, and strong campaigns – and a valuable school in aesthetics, storytelling, and visual communication.

Her career later led her into the international fashion industry, where she worked as an art director and key creative for both Danish and global brands. She traveled the world, working in some of the most beautiful locations – by the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, North Sea, and the Gulf of Thailand – and in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Cape Town, Paris, and London.

In London, she collaborated with an agent who opened doors to prestigious clients and creative opportunities. Her responsibilities included leading fashion photoshoots, creative direction, brand consulting, and visual identity design. She worked in top-tier international teams to deliver powerful and beautiful results – often managing large budgets and high-profile campaigns.

Her distinctive aesthetic and intuitive sense of style drew the attention of ZEIT Wissen Magazine, which featured her in an article on personal style alongside names such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, and Iris Apfel.
